Who operates SOUK X

SOUK X is operated by ONICO LTD. Contact dan@onicogroup.com for privacy requests. This policy covers the SOUK X app and website. Updated 26 September 2026.

What we collect

We collect your account name and email, selected emirate, profile text, listing details and photos, saved items, messages, offers, reports, blocks and order records. Photos are resized and stripped of embedded metadata before storage. We do not collect contacts or continuous device location. Camera and photo selection are used only when you choose to add listing photos.

How information is used

We use this information to operate accounts, listings, conversations, offers and orders, prevent abuse, investigate reports and provide support. Your name, emirate, profile and active listings are public. Messages and offers are accessible to conversation participants; authorised support administrators may access information when investigating reports or disputes. Your email is not shown in your public profile.

Service providers

Google Cloud and Firebase process authentication and host marketplace information in European infrastructure. Stripe processes supported card payments and related fraud signals under its own privacy policy. Card numbers and security codes are entered in Stripe components and are not stored by SOUK X. No advertising trackers are used by SOUK X. Providers may process data internationally according to their own arrangements.

Retention and deletion

We keep account content while your account is active. You can remove listings, edit your profile and delete your account in the app or website. Account deletion removes your profile, listings and uploaded photos and anonymises messages you sent. Order and report records may be retained where needed for accounting, legal obligations or unresolved disputes. Active orders must be resolved before account deletion. Cloud backups and provider security logs can retain information for their normal retention periods. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of retained information.

Storage on your device

The iOS app stores sign-in tokens in the system Keychain and your language choice in app preferences. The website stores sign-in tokens in session storage for the current browser session and language preference in local storage. No payment card details are saved by SOUK X.

Adults only

SOUK X accounts are for people aged 18 or older. Contact us if a child has created an account.
