About the marketplace

SOUK X is operated by ONICO LTD and helps adults discover, list and arrange purchases of preloved physical items in the UAE. Users must be 18 or older, provide accurate account information and use the service lawfully. Updated 26 September 2026.

Listings and prohibited items

List only genuine physical items you own and are authorised to sell. Use your own photos and accurately describe condition, defects, size and price in AED. No counterfeit or stolen items, weapons, tobacco, alcohol, adult content, medicines, animals, financial products, recalled or unsafe goods, or other restricted products. Do not post personal documents or someone else’s private information.

Offers and collection

An offer expires after 48 hours. Accepting an offer does not reserve the item until checkout. v1 supports local collection. Agree a public meeting point and inspect the item. A courier is not automatically booked by SOUK X. Buyers and sellers are responsible for their own agreements and for fulfilling their transactions. SOUK X does not claim to authenticate every item or offer an escrow service.

Payments and fees

Listing is free. Where supported card checkout is enabled, SOUK X takes a 5% seller commission on the item price; Stripe processing fees are additional. Buyers see the total before paying. Card checkout is available only with a supported, enabled seller payment route. Private UAE seller card payments and payouts are awaiting an approved provider arrangement and are not enabled simply by creating a listing. For local sales arranged directly, agree the payment method with the seller and never share card credentials in chat.

Refunds and problems

Ask the seller about returns and refunds before purchasing. Report an order problem or contact dan@onicogroup.com with the order reference. Supported card orders can be refunded by the seller through SOUK X. Applicable mandatory consumer rights are not excluded by these terms. Do not mark an order received until you have inspected and collected it.

Community and moderation

Be respectful. No harassment, scams, spam, discriminatory abuse or impersonation. Report listings or conversations using the report menu and block unwanted members. SOUK X may remove listings, restrict accounts or investigate reported activity. Users grant SOUK X the permission needed to store and display their listing content to operate the service. They retain ownership of their content.

Account control and support

You can sign out, edit your profile, block members and request account deletion in the app or website. Resolve active orders before deletion. Contact dan@onicogroup.com for support. If the English and Arabic versions differ, contact support for clarification before relying on the disputed wording.
